Ideal Candidates and Conditions for LASIK

  • Are of at least 18 years of age
  • General health is good
  • Have had a stable prescription for at least one year
  • Not presently pregnant or breast feeding
  • Have no health issues affecting the eyes
  • Have no signs of glaucoma, cataracts, or retinal disease
  • Not using medications such as anti-inflammatory, steroids, or immunosupressants.
  • Corneal possesses enough thickness to do the procedure
